WATCH: EA Sports unveils College Football 26 trailer

One of the most popular video games on the planet is set to return in July. EA Sports College Football 26 will officially be released on July 10. Fans got a chance to see what this year’s edition of the game would include on Thursday.
The first trailer has hit social media. Buddy, this is a good one.
The video lasted under two minutes but included the “Enter Sandman” entrance at Virginia Tech, showed cover athletes Jeremiah Smith (Ohio State) and Ryan Williams (Alabama) in action, flashed how home crowds could influence gameplay, and has included coaches with Ryan Day, Steve Sarkisian, James Franklin, and Marcus Freeman all making an appearance in the trailer. That is a change from last year when the game did not feature coaches.
This trailer also featured the return of high school Friday nights to the EA Sports College Football series. Per reporting from Pete Nakos, game users will be able to “Build your highlight tape to earn an offer from your dream school. Rise in class rankings and secure scholarships before other recruits.” This is expected to be a part of “Road to Glory” that will ultimately end in a commitment ceremony with school hats placed on the table. There will also be updates made to the transfer portal that was a popular add-on in the game last year.

The college football season is still over 80 days away but the video game will be out in six weeks to serve as a tremendous appetizer as we all grind through the longest offseason in sports.
