Eckrich Numbers You Need to Know for Kentucky-Florida

Eckrich is here to give you numbers you need to know and proud to present the $1 Million Challenge for Teachers! This 2021 college football season Eckrich, in partnership with Extra Yard for Teachers and Kroger, will invite a local teacher (and true hero) onto the field at the Tennessee vs Kentucky game on November 6th.

These lucky teachers, randomly selected from a list of entries, will have a chance to throw a football through a target to win up to $1 million dollars in donations to fund local classroom projects. Nominate a teacher here for a chance to throw! Make sure to nominate your teacher by October 27th.


1 — Kentucky victory over Florida in the last 35 years. The Cats have not defeated Florida at home since 1986.

3 — Seasons Kentucky has started 5-0 in the last 50 years (2018, 2007, 1984). A win today would make the Wildcats 5-0 and push them into the Top 25.

6 — Plays of 20+ yards by UK opponents this season are the fewest in the SEC. Florida has given up 15 20+ yard plays, ranking 10th in the conference.

6.14 — Yards per carry by Chris Rodriguez, the SEC’s leading rusher.

6.4 — Yards per passing attempt by Emory Jones only rank higher than Vanderbilt and Texas A&M’s quarterbacks. Jones’ QB rating also ranks 12th in the SEC.

7.46 — Yards per carry by Florida. The third-ranked rushing team in America gets more than 322 yards per game on the ground.

8 — Will Levis passes of 30 yards or more, the second-most in the SEC. He’ll need to hit a few today while facing pressure from Grantham’s defense.

11.4 — Predicted margin of victory for Florida by ESPN’s SP+.

14 — Fumbles by the Cats in four games. UK opponents have only recovered six of them.

15 — Sacks by Florida are the second most in the SEC and rank ninth nationally.

54.35 — Kentucky’s third down conversion percentage is the second best in the SEC.

402 — Receiving yards by Wan’Dale Robinson are the most in the SEC.
