Enes Kanter is Having a Big Summer
Enes Kanter's first year in the NBA was a mixed bag. He began the season relatively poorly, looking lost and out of place and seeing his playing time deteriorate during most of the first half of the season. But slowly things got better, his defense improved a great deal and by the end of the year, he looked closer to the player he was projected to be. It is also important to remember that it had basically been 2 1/2 years since his last big time organized game and getting ready for the NBA takes some diligence. But Enes has decided year 2 will be better...he has spent his summer working out and currently looks like a real live beast. Add to that the fact that he also seems to have his playful side and it looks like Summer 2012 could be called "The Summer of Enes"
