ESPN's Joe Lunardi updated his projected NCAA tournament bracket today and he has Kentucky as the No. 5 seed in a Region of Death.
Down one spot from a No. 4 seed a week ago, the Wildcats are in the West Region with Duke as the No. 1 seed. Kentucky would get New Mexico State in the opening game; then would have to get past Arizona to reach the second weekend, where Texas/Texas A&M or Duke would be the Sweet 16 opponent.
If Kentucky reached the Elite Eight, it would likely see Trae Young and Oklahoma for a shot in the Final Four.
