Evan Daniels predicts which Kentucky players will go pro
With the end of the season fast approaching, it’s almost time for that inevitable, annual question: which Kentucky players will go pro? Recruiting expert Evan Daniels weighed in with his thoughts during a Q&A this afternoon and said he believes PJ Washington, Keldon Johnson, and Tyler Herro are the most likely to make the jump to the NBA this summer.
“My gut says PJ Washington and Keldon Johnson are locks to enter the NBA Draft. I think Tyler Herro is likely to make the jump to the NBA. Let’s put it at 90 percent. I’d expect everyone else to go back to Kentucky (at least that’s what they should do). I think with another year EJ Montgomery and Ashton Hagans could improve their draft stocks significantly. Maybe Nick Richards tries to make a jump? Let’s assume that Washington, Johnson and Herro are the only three that leave — that gives Kentucky a really nice core for next year the recruiting class they’ve assembled and are about to add to.”
Evan knows way more than me, so this makes me feel slightly more optimistic Ashton Hagans will return for a sophomore season. Evan also discusses Kentucky’s chances with Keion Brooks and Isaiah Todd, but you’re going to have to click the link below to see that.
