Considered one of the best defensive first basemen in the country, his bat was underrated.  He hit a team-high .373, slugged .637, hit 10 home runs, 24 doubles and 41 RBIs.  He was at his best when it mattered most, getting four hits in eight Super Regional at-bats.  White will end his three-year career on UK's top five list of hits, doubles and batting average. The junior is just the fifth first round selection in school history.  He's the school's first position player to be drafted since 1996 and the first UK player picked in the first round since 2011.  A second team All-SEC selection in 2016 and 2017, he was named to the SEC's All-Defensive Team every single year at Kentucky.
