Faulkner and Dawson to start in All-American Bowl

Kentucky football fans get a glimpse into the future Saturday as Morgan Newton takes the helms of the offense in the Compass Bowl.  As long as they keep their DVR game strong, they can catch another glimpse into the possible future at the Army All-American Bowl features a committed Cat and a targeted one both starting on the same defense.  According depth chart released yesterday, Boyle County’s Lamar Dawson will start at outside linebacker for the West team and Kentucky commitment Glenn Faulkner will start at safety. 

Faulkner, ranked 102nd in the Rivals 250 and rated as the fifth-best safety in the nation, committed to UK in March.  Meanwhile, Dawson ranks 54th in the nation overall and as the third-best inside linebacker in the country.  He will still visit Southern Cal, Central Florida and Tennessee before deciding where he wants to take his Intro to College Algebra courses.

The game will air at 1pm on NBC.
