Former Kentucky forward Kyle Wiltjer was named a starter for Team Canada in their first-round matchup versus Australia.

Wiltjer played 20 minutes and recorded 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist in Canada’s loss against Australia, 108-92.

Canada’s next game will be Tuesday, September 3rd 7:30 a.m. EST against Lithuania


In other news, Team USA held off the Czech Republic early Sunday morning, 88-67 as Utah Jazz guard and former Louisville Cardinal, Donavan Mitchell, scores a team-high 16 points while collecting 2 assists and 2 rebounds.

Team USA’s next game is on Tuesday, September 3rd at 8:30 AM EST against Turkey.
