According to Tipton Edits, five-star class of 2021 shooting guard, Trevor Keels, has cut his list of prospective college destinations down to just four, with Kentucky making the cut. The 6-foot-5 guard out of Fairfax, VA also included Duke, Virginia, and Villanova among his list with a final decision set to come on April 4. https://twitter.com/TiptonEdits/status/1371242389382238208 https://twitter.com/TrevorKeels/status/1371242961816719361 247 Sports ranks Keels as the 16th best player in his class and the second highest-rated shooting guard while Rivals tabs him as the 20th best player and fourth-best shooting guard. The 'Cats were late to get into the mix, as the trio of Duke, Virginia, and Villanova were all listed among his top 3 potential choices back in September. That being said, Kentucky has clearly made an impact on his recruitment since extending Keels a scholarship. Kentucky head coach John Calipari just recently offered Keels, as it was reported on Feb. 12 that the Wildcats had reached out. Since then, his recruitment has seemingly been trending towards Villanova, with three Crystal Ball projections all being logged for 'Nova just a few days ago on March 9.
