Not these five, but those five did all get selected in the first round.[/caption] Sunday was the deadline for players to submit their name to the NBA as potential draft prospects.  Today the NBA released the 162 names -- 117 from college and 45 international players -- that will be draft eligible. These players can accept invitations to the NBA Draft Combine, held in Chicago from May 10-15.   They will have until May 25 to either decide to return to school or forego their remaining eligibility and remain in the draft.  The five names we expected to see are below.
  1. Isaiah Briscoe
  2. Skal Labissiere
  3. Marcus Lee
  4. Jamal Murray
  5. Tyler Ulis
Briscoe and Lee are the only two considering a return.  Other notable names include: Chinanu Onauku, Troy Williams, James Blackmon Jr., Malik Newman, Antonio Blakeney, Tim Quarterman, Damian Jones, Stephen Zimmerman.  You can see the full list here.
