Flashback Friday: Malik Monk's 47 points vs. North Carolina

Kentucky Basketball is currently depressing, so why don’t we reminisce about better times? You know, when Kentucky could actually make three-pointers.
With tomorrow’s game vs. Ohio State happening at T-Mobile Arena, let’s flash back to December 17, 2016, when Malik Monk scored 47 points in Kentucky’s 103-100 win over North Carolina, including the game-winning three. Monk hit 18 of 28 shots, including 8 of 12 3-point attempts. Only Duke’s Dick Groat (48 points) in 1952 has scored more against the Tar Heels.
Monk’s 47 points remain the most ever made by a Kentucky freshman. His shot chart was a thing of beauty:

“If you watched that game, if you never liked basketball, you’re going to start liking basketball,” John Calipari said afterwards. “Like, wow.”
I forgot what good basketball looked like. Malik, if you’re reading, can you send some of that mojo to Vegas, stat?
