When Miami and Indiana tip off tonight in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals, at least one sports fan out there will legitimately care about the game's outcome. His name is Floyd Mayweather and he has entirely too much money.
The leader of The Money Team reportedly
placed $5.9 million on Miami to cover tonight, according to a Las Vegas gambling Twitter account. Mayweather's rumored gambling ticket has the Heat at -7 over Indiana.
Mayweather, recently named the highest-paid athlete is America, is projected to make $90 million this year, so a Pacers cover won't break his bank. But just think of all the good he could do by putting the money somewhere else.
