Sean Sutton, the son of Coach Eddie Sutton, and a former member of the UK basketball team and Oklahoma State coach was
arrested on charges of illegally buying drugs, in his case prescription painkillers, by fraudulent means. According to police, he used various doctors and mail-order services to buy drugs via fraudulent means to service an addiction to the painkillers.
It is yet another chapter in the sad story of the Suttons, a family who has dealt with addiction to various substances for some time.
