Former UK linebacker sent home from The Bachelorette

Daron Blaylock’s time on “The Bachelorette” was short-lived.

The former Kentucky linebacker did not earn a rose on the show’s second episode of the season, thus ending his quest for a lifelong commitment to Hannah B. Blaylock was one of three bachelors eliminated Monday night and the second with a Kentucky connection to get dismissed in consecutive weeks. A high school teacher out of Louisville got cut the first night.

A website called The Cheat Sheet named Blaylock the frontrunner prior to the start of the season. The Cheat Sheet was very wrong. By my count he had about 30 seconds of camera time in his two episodes before exiting the mansion with a broken heart.

Blaylock will return to Georgia, where he worked as an IT consultant prior to chasing an engagement to Hannah B in Los Angeles.

Hang in there, bud. There are other fish in the sea in the real world.
