Georgia DB just waiting on an offer from the Cats

He's #4 As the Cats are expected to get some good news this afternoon regarding this year's defense with the announcement of Micah Johnson's return, the staff continues to try to build for beyond in the meantime.  Those plans may or may not include Georgia defensive back K.J. Morton.  According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Morton visited the Cats in December and will commit if offered, but the in-state Bulldogs are starting to come around and nip at their heels.  But, as of now, the only obstacle between a Morton-UK marriage seems to be his ACT scores, which the coaches are waiting on. Morton is not ranked by either Rivals or Scouts, but plays for the the nationally ranked Northside team in Warner-Robins, Ga.  ESPN grades the 5'9" corner as a 71 overall, which is similar to Central DT Mister Cobble (69), and says that while his size hurts him and could be a problem in pass coverage, his athleticism and physical play helps him make up for it.  They think he could be a very good nickel back and special teams player, but could struggle as a primary corner. Go Cats.
