Kroger KSR Game of the Week: Glasgow at Hart County

The Kroger KSR Game of the Week will feature Glasgow at Hart County. This is our first trip to Hart County where the Raiders are a perfect 11-0 and riding a wave of momentum into the second week of the playoffs. Glasgow is 9-2 and coming off a victory over McLean County in week one. Friday will be a rematch from the regular season when Hart County topped the Scotties 22-19.

HART COUNTY

Coach Chad Griffin’s team is undefeated. The Raiders feature two 900+yard rushers in Clark Rexroat and Hunter Monroe. The duo is joined by Joshua Dan Crump who’s added 11 touchdowns on the ground. The ground attack is going for 319 yards per contest. Quarterback Jacob Shoulders has also thrown for 10 scores.

Hart County’s defense is paced by a couple of defenders who have recorded over 120 tackles. Jaxson Shoulders (129) and AD Milby (120) lead a unit that has also registered 14 quarterback sacks, 68 tackles for loss, and 11 interceptions.

GLASGOW

The Scotties enter the contest with a 9-2 record. Coach Jeff Garmon’s team will be seeking revenge for a regular season loss to the Raiders in October. Quarterback Easton Jessie paces the offense with 2012 passing yards and 19 touchdowns. He averages 182 yards per outing. Jessie is also the team’s leading rusher with 477 yards and 6 scores on the ground. Rico Crowder’s 37 receptions are tops on the squad. He’s also scored 9 touchdowns.

Mason Arms leads Glasgow’s defense with 76 tackles and 5 QB sacks. Jacob Brunson has added 46 and Kellon Stone has contributed 37. Jerrick Martin’s 5 interceptions lead the way in the pass defense department.

We have a rematch on Friday night. We can’t wait to get to Hart County on Friday for an exciting matchup of two teams that are very familiar with each other.
