Great Win and Fun Game
Tonight was a veyr important win for the Cats as they finally got off of the losing end of things with a rather convincing win on the road over Georgia. Three things are of long term importance…
(1) The players gave 100 percent effort throughout. I never thought that anyone was taking plays off and Rondo (who had seemed to be napping for weeks) was all over the place causing havoc.

(2) Patrick Sparks came back to life. It was not just the fact that he made shots, it was also the increased confidence. Announcer Jimmy Dykes hit it right on the head when he said that the moment in the game that should make Kentucky fans the happiest was the Sparks, between the legs, pass. It takes confidence to do that and it is good to see him get it back.
(3) The team camraderie was, for the first time maybe all year, directly on point. Guys who I know have had horrible problems with each other were embracing and showing each other love. The sight of Patrick Sparks draining a 3 in the corner and being mobbed by his teammates will be one of the season’s highlights.
Very good win and something to build on going forward.
