Highly-ranked SG Kris Parker has heard from Kentucky coaching staff

The Kentucky Men’s Basketball coaching staff has not stopped recruiting for a single second this month.
On Sunday morning, Travis Branham of 247 Sports first reported that four-star shooting guard from the class of 2023, Kris Parker, has been contacted with Kentucky. Parker then confirmed the news with KSR, indicating that it was assistant head coach Orlando Antigua who reached out initially. According to both 247 Sports and Rivals, the 6-foot-6, 175-pound Parker is a consensus four-star prospect and a top 30 recruit in his class.

— Travis Branham (@TravisBranham_) June 20, 2021
Parker plays his high school ball down at Crossroad Academy in Quincy, FL, and currently holds about a half-dozen offers. Florida, Florida State, Kansas State, and Ole Miss are the Power 5 programs that have already extended an offer to the rising junior. As of right now, he has unofficial visits planned to Kansas State and Florida State, the latter of which is his hometown school.
The conversation between Coach Antigua and Parker was minimal, but the interest has been expressed. Now it’s time to develop a relationship. Watch Parker work in the video below.
