The rumors were swirling hot and heavy at Rupp this afternoon and there are some indications that Kentucky might be getting another player for next year. Sophomore guard Twany Beckham, a Ballard product, has apparently tired of Sidney and Stansbury's Starkville Circus and is transferring, possibly to UK as a walk-on. The former two-star player saw little action in two and a half years as a Bulldog, averaging 2.9 points and 2.1 assists this season after sitting out last year with surgeries on both hips. If he joined the Cats, he would be eligible to play beginning the spring of next year. We should know something in the next three to four days.
And I know. I thought about Chuck Finley and this video too when I first heard the news.
