Is Devin Booker's shooting slump something to worry about going into the NCAA tournament?

When he shot, you knew it was going in. Early this season, I did a detailed breakdown of Devin's shooting and saw a pattern in his consistency. One game he would have a great game shooting only to follow it with a bad game. Over the past 6 games, Devin's shot just has not been there. Here is a breakdown of those games. Arkansas 4-10, 0-4 Georgia- 29, 1-4 Florida- 2-4, 2-3 Florida- 2-6, 0-2 Auburn 3-5, 2-4 Arkansas 1-4, 1-3 During these games, not only has his scoring been down but his shot attempts are down as well. Is this a concern going forward? ABSOLULETLY NOT. While Devin has not played well of late, the Harrison twins as well as Ulis have stepped up. Both Aaron and Andrew have shot well from behind the arc and have been getting to the basket with ease. Tyler played extremely well today feeding the open man. It is clear to me that the offensive is being run through the twins and Ulis, thus taking shots away from Booker. Another reason why I am not concerned with his shooting slump is because of WCS. Willie flipped the switch to beast mode in the SEC tournament, winning the SEC tournament MVP. He is scoring at will and cannot be stopped inside. With Kentucky possibly going up against far less athletic teams in the NCAA tournament, the offense will certainly be focused on getting the ball in the post. This would free up open shots for Booker behind the arc. While Devin has not shot the ball well, this should not be a concern for Kentucky fans. We just won the SEC tournament and are 34-0. If Booker does not score during the entire tournament, we would still be fine. However, for Kentucky to go from great to excellent, Booker needs to be a scoring threat. With the stakes higher than ever, Booker will not shy away from those open looks.   @PerkiliciousKSR
