Josh Allen, the Jaguars one, will miss tonight’s Monday night preseason game at New Orleans after he was placed on the team’s COVID-19 list the morning of the game.

It is unknown if Allen tested positive or was in close contact with someone who tested positive, so the length of the former Kentucky pass-rusher’s quarantine has not yet been announced.

Jacksonville’s top defensive player, Allen missed the last six games of the 2020 season, his sophomore NFL year. As a rookie in 2019, Allen made the Pro Bowl for his 10.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, 23 quarterback hits, and two forced fumbles. He was the first Jacksonville rookie to play in the Pro Bowl in franchise history.
