As expected, Mark Stoops has
dismissed Jason Hatcher from the University of Kentucky football program. Hatcher was given chance after chance to straighten up after several slip-ups during his three seasons, but his latest incident is too much to excuse.
The loss of Hatcher is a gigantic hit to Kentucky's defense as he was poised to be one of the veteran leaders of that unit. Sadly, it doesn't come as much of a surprise. Hopefully he can find help and get his life, one that once had so much potential, back on the right track.
