John Calipari comments on racial slur used at Rupp Arena
Speaking for the first time since Kentucky’s loss to Tennessee at Rupp Arena ended with a woman hurling a racial slur at Tennessee fans, John Calipari comprehensively condemned the action.
“I didn’t see the video. I would just tell you that using a racial slur is unacceptable in any setting at any time,” said Calipari.
Kentucky’s head coach said he has not talked to his team about the incident. He does not believe it reflects the ideals or the image of the program.

“If it came from the program it would be, but it’s not. It’s not. Like I said, it’s unacceptable in any kind of setting.”
