John Calipari says Alex wants to come back

John Calipari accepted the Adolph Rupp Cup this afternoon, making him the first coach to ever receive the award twice. Cal had his swag back a little, joking around with Herky Rupp and laughing along to stories told by Mike Pratt and Herky before taking some questions from the media. One of the first questions asked was about Alex Poythress, who was reportedly still mulling whether or not he wanted to come back to school. Cal settled it. "We've talked. I think he's wanting to come back."  In fact, Cal said he can't wait to get Alex back on the court, along with his other veterans, including Marcus Lee. "It's their time now," Cal said of Poythress and Lee. "This is their time."

What about Derek Willis and Dominique Hawkins? "I would say both of them [sense an opportunity]. I’ve seen Derek in the gym on his own putting up shots."
