John Wall Debuts Tonight

by:Matt Jones10/28/10
wewe Do you have your dancing shoes on? Its time tonight for the debut performance of John Wall in the NBA. Tonight his Washington Wizards will take to the floor versus the Orlando Magic in a game on TNT. This will be the first time that the vast majority of America will have seen John Wall outside of a Kentucky uniform and expectations are extremely high. Wall will likely be locked in a race for Rookie of the Year all season with Blake Griffin, and last night the former Oklahoma star debuted with a rousing performance that showed his college hype was worthy. We all know that Wall is as good as advertised, but America wants to see it as well and tonight they will get their chance. Wall will be matched up with former St Joseph's star Jameer Nelson, with Wall having an advantage in height and quickness, but Nelson holding an important advantage in "old man facial hair." Orlando will be sold out and loud, with Daniel Orton on the sidelines, likely taking his final tests from his last semester at UK to make sure he finishes his classes and doesnt "let the Big Blue Nation down." I am pumped to watch the game and cheer on Wall. I firmly believe he will be a star in the League and tonight is the first "I remember when" moment. Make sure and tune in.
