John Wall officially enters the NBA dunk contest

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="400"] Mark Zerof | US Presswire[/caption] John Wall has officially been announced as one of the six participants in this year's Sprite Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend. Scheduled for next Saturday night, February 15, the dunk contest will feature the following six players: Harrison Barnes, Warriors (West) Paul George, Pacers (East) Damian Lillard, Blazers (West) Ben McLemore, Kings (West) Terrence Ross, Raptors (East) John Wall, Wizards (East) When introducing the field last night on NBA on TNT, Kenny "The Jet" Smith called Wall his favorite to win the contest. The entire crew agreed it will be the best dunk contest in the last five years. Meanwhile, Damian Lillard is set to become the first player to compete in five All-Star weekend events. Lillard will compete in the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge on Friday; the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, Foot Locker Three-Point Contest and Sprite Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday; and the 63rd NBA All-Star game Sunday night.
