The No. 1 player in America is officially a high school graduate. The five-star basketball recruit Jonathan Kuminga is tabbed as the best player from the 2021 class, but now it looks like he'll officially be Jonathan Kuminga, Class of 2020. What he'll do next is the real mystery.
Two weeks ago, the 6-foot-8 small forward announced his final five options: Kentucky, Auburn, Texas Tech, Duke and the G League. Just yesterday, Rivals recruiting expert
Corey Evans announced he believes Kuminga will not play college basketball.
"As we dive deeper into the offseason, the chances that Kuminga ever plays even one second of college basketball become smaller and smaller. Bank on Kuminga reclassifying into the 2020 class and turning pro, whether that means he goes overseas or to the G League, for his one year between high school and the NBA."
The Twitter account Hoopgate spotted the YouTube video of Kuminga's graduation ceremony from The Patrick School, located in Hillside, New Jersey.

Kuminga has not made a public comment about the graduation video or reclassification news. This post will be updated if and when he does.
**UPDATE**
Corey Evans of Rivals has responded to the YouTube video, saying Kuminga has completed his classes but has not yet "officially" made the announcement regarding a reclassification.
