Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse for Billy Clyde, they did. To the surprise of absolutely no one,  Billy Gillispie is now on indefinite sick leave.  This is not an official leave of absence, he is using sick days that he has built up.  This was not to the dismay of Jordan Tolbert.  Today in a phone interview with ESPN's Andy Katz, Texas Tech's leading scorer Jordan Tolbert says that he wants no part of being on a team coached by Billy Gillispie. "I don't. Maybe I would for the assistants. I haven't put that much thought into it. There is a big sense of urgency. I don't want to play for him if he comes back.''   Players have obviously disliked Gillispie in the past and spoken publicly of their mistreatment, but only after their playing careers were over. We've heard Mark Krebs and Perry Stevenson voice their displeasure and tell stories about their former coach. To me what is interesting about this is that it is a CURRENT PLAYER speaking out against him.  Chances are he's not the only player with this sentiment. I'll be interested to see if any other players go public with their feelings.   If Gillispie is somehow kept on as coach, could we see a mass exit from the Red Raiders basketball team. There is almost no chance that Tolbert and Gillispie could or would be able to co-habitate. It was rumored that few players from Gillispie's last team at UK would have stayed for his third year. If Gillispie is kept, we could get to see what could have happened in Lexington a few years ago.   It was already looking bleak for Gillispie's chance at a return, but now that his leading scorer says he doesn't want to play for him it would unbelievably difficult for Texas Tech to keep him.   As for Tolbert's thoughts on the upcoming season, he says:   "We still can be good, but we do need a coach.''   Yes, Jordan. Yes you do.  Maybe Tom Penders is still interested.   **Reminder: Keep sending in your aUKward Fan Photos to [email protected]. The next installment will run on Wednesday.
