towns-espn Karl-Anthony Towns can't seem to do an interview without giving John Calipari and the University of Kentucky praise for where he is today in the NBA. Towns was a guest on this morning's SportsCenter during the "Face-To-Face with Hannah Storm" segment, and in typical Karl fashion, he gave all the credit to Cal and UK. When asked about adjusting to the NBA game, Towns told Storm, "Coming in I thought the NBA would be more grueling on my body, physically and mentally. I didn't realize how ready I was until a couple of weeks in, thanks to the University of Kentucky. I had the mental capacity and also the physical strength to continue to really play at a high level." Storm then asked about the most important thing Kentucky taught him, to which he said, "I just think it's the work ethic. When you get in the league it's amazing how hard you have to work just to stay playing at a high level and to stay healthy, but also contribute to the team success. So, I just had that work ethic thanks to Coach Calipari and the coaching staff there, and thanks to them I was able to help my team out a lot." Towns has become Calipari's best recruiting tool. https://twitter.com/DrewFranklinKSR/status/736215398476087296
