Earlier this week, Kentucky Football released a clip of ‘For the Commonwealth,’ a video featuring Kash Daniel, Drake Jackson, and Landon Young, three highly-rated recruits in the 2016 class that turned down college football’s biggest programs to stay home and represent their state. The entire video just hit YouTube, and it’s just as great as you imagined.

During the 35-minute conversation, Kash, Drake, and Landon reflect on their friendship and what it’s meant to play for their home state the past three seasons. They also talk about the family atmosphere under Mark Stoops, which has led to their teammates from Ohio and other states calling Kentucky home; their favorite memories so far as Wildcats; and how John Schlarman and Josh Paschal’s battles with cancer inspire them to be better. You might want to get the tissues for that part.

On Tuesday, Kash tweeted that the video is his favorite thing he’s done media wise since coming to Lexington, and you can see why. The pride in their voices is something we all feel every day.

Just three Kentucky kids sitting around talking about why they love UK Football. Awesome.
