It feels like at some point Anthony Davis has to win one of these. However, this year the NBA Defensive Player of the Year went to Kawhi Leonard again. Leonard received 547 points while Draymond Green had 421 to finish second. Davis – the only former Kentucky player to receive any – received a second and third place vote, which made him ninth overall. Not bad for a guy who was shut down toward the end of the season and played for a struggling team.

I can’t fathom why Kawhi Leonard won this again though. Any help Lance?
