Kentucky got the job done in its season opener with Kent State, 47-14. It was a coming out party for senior wide receiver Aaron Boyd; he caught 11 passes for 100 yards, including his first career touchdown. Freshman wide receiver DeMarcus Sweat also put his first career points on the board on a 56-yard pass play from Max Smith. Smith threw for 359 yards and four touchdowns. Rashawn will be by with more soon. Cats.
