Kentucky 'all up in' the All-SEC team

wesley_024-315x223.jpg The 2007 All-SEC Football Team was announced today, with five Wildcats earning a spot on the hypothetical roster voted on by the coaches. Senior Destroyer Wesley Woodyward was one of only 5 players unanimously selected to the first team, where he's joined by TE Jacob Tamme. Andre' Woodson quarterbacks the second team, where his blindside will be protected by OL Garry Williams. Finishing 2nd in the league in sacks earned super-soph Jeremy Jarmon second team honors as well. Conspicuously absent, WR's Steve Johnson and Keenan Burton, who although finishing #1,2 respectively in TD receptions were left off. Then again, it's awfully difficult to eliminate any one of the chosen few, and I'm sure those two will sleep just fine regardless. Big time accolades for a handfull of Wildcats, and it's good to see their historical (from a UK perspective) efforts did not go unnoticed by the coaches. 2007 All-SEC Football Team (secsports.com) WesleyWoodyard.com
