Kentucky among betting favorites for 2024 NCAA Championship
Kentucky is No. 16 in both the AP and Coaches Preseason Polls, the lowest such ranking of the John Calipari era; however, in Vegas, they’re among the favorites to win the whole thing.
Our friends over at FanDuel released odds for the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Kentucky is listed at 18/1. Kansas is the betting favorite, at 10/1, followed by Duke and Purdue at 12/1 and Michigan State at 15/1. From the SEC, Tennessee has the next best odds at 20/1, with Alabama and Arkansas not far behind at 25/1 and 30/1, respectively.

Defending champion UConn is 22/1. Waaaaay down at the bottom of the list is Louisville with 260/1 odds. In fact, I was only going to share part of the list until I saw the Cards at rock bottom. Sorry, Kenny Payne.
Kentucky’s preseason ranking makes sense given the team’s youth and injuries in the frontcourt. If all goes well, the Cats will be a very different — and dangerous — team come March. Would you put down some money on them to bring home number nine?
