Kentucky’s season-opening win over Ball State may not have been perfect, but the Big Blue Nation made the most out of a beautiful afternoon at Kroger Field. Helping matters were the ice-cold beers and seltzers available for purchase in the concourse. KSR’s photographers Dr. Michael Huang and Mont Dawson were in the house to capture the scene, including Jalen Geiger’s 69-yard scoop-and-score and Barion Brown’s 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

With the NFL season not kicking off until next week, Titans rookie Will Levis and Giants second-year wideout Wan’Dale Robinson returned to their old stomping grounds to cheer the Cats on.

They weren’t the only former Cats in attendance. Check out Lukasz “Woo” Obrzut and Shagari Alleyne towering over their section:

Is that Nick Roush I see with a UK-themed Bud Light?

He wasn’t the only one enjoying the legal cold beverages:

The only people more upset about Jordan Lovett’s fumble recovery for a touchdown being blown dead might be his family. They were all smiles before kickoff.
