WATCH: Kentucky Baseball greets fans before leaving for Omaha

The Kentucky Baseball team is off to the College World Series — or it will be soon, at least. Over a hundred fans came out to Kentucky Proud Park to send the Cats off to Omaha, just for Nick Mingione to share the news that the team’s flight was delayed.
“I have good news: we are going to Omaha,” Mingione said. “The not-so-great news is our flight has been delayed. But on behalf of our players and our staff, we just wanted to tell you how thankful we are for you coming out today and for what you’ve done for this team all season. We’re going to do our best to bring home another trophy and make you proud.”
