Kentucky Basketball’s 2025-26 schedule is slowly coming together. The SEC just revealed each team’s opponents for the 2025-26 18-game conference slate. We’re still waiting on dates, but at least we know who Kentucky will play and where.

Kentucky will play Florida, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt twice. The Cats will also host Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. They will travel to Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, South Carolina, and Texas A&M, with no return games. Times, dates, and television information will be announced at a later date.

Home and Away

  • Florida
  • Tennessee
  • Vanderbilt

Home Only

  • Georgia
  • Ole Miss
  • Mississippi State
  • Missouri
  • Oklahoma
  • Texas

Away Only

  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Auburn
  • LSU
  • South Carolina
  • Texas A&M

We already knew about the home-and-home vs. Florida, the reigning national champs. The home-and-homes vs. Tennessee and Vandy will extend two of the longest-played series in the nation. Kentucky has played Tennessee more than any program in its history, leading the all-time series 163-79. The Cats lead the all-time series vs. Vanderbilt 158-50.

We also got a heads-up from Jon Rothstein that Kentucky and Arkansas will only play once this season, in Fayetteville. Only playing Alabama and Auburn on the road isn’t ideal, but at least both teams will be rebuilding a bit from last season. Kentucky will get its first crack at Texas A&M in the Bucky McMillan era in College Station. Without knowing, I’m already predicting that the South Carolina game in Columbia will take place at 9 p.m. on the SEC Network.

The road schedule is tough, but the home schedule is pretty manageable. Ole Miss only coming to Rupp sets up Travis Perry’s homecoming. I’m sure Otega Oweh and Brandon Garrison are looking forward to hosting Oklahoma as well.
