Kentucky is the betting favorite to win the SEC Tournament

If Las Vegas’ crystal ball is correct, the University of Kentucky could spend back-to-back Sundays celebrating SEC Tournament Championships.
As the final horn sounded on the Kentucky women’s basketball victory over top-ranked South Carolina, oddsmakers were crunching the numbers for John Calipari’s Cats. Where ever you place your bets, you’ll find the Wildcats as the betting favorite to cut down the nets in Tampa on Selection Sunday. If Calipari’s Cats can pull off the feat, Kentucky can become just the second school in SEC history to win both the men’s and women’s basketball tournament in the same season. Georgia swept both in 1983.

If you prefer to play the long game with your wagers, I regret to inform you that DraftKings has removed its National Player of the Year odds. They can’t let Oscar Tshiebwe take any more of their money. Kentucky is tied with Arizona with the second best odds to make the Final Four (+150) and is the third choice to cut down the nets in New Orleans (+700).
Kentucky opens SEC Tournament play in the Friday nightcap. The Wildcats will face either Alabama or Georgia/Vanderbilt at approximately 8:30 pm ET on the SEC Network. Check out the complete bracket and prepare to cash in on the Wildcats’ success this March.
