(Photo by UK Athletics)[/caption] Despite jumping out to a three-run lead early in the game, Kentucky lost 11-7 to Indiana. Trailing 7-5 headed into the final three innings, Indiana scored two runs in the 7th, 8th and 9th innings to come back and collect a win at Kentucky. After Indiana scored twice in the top of the second, Kentucky dropped an offensive onslaught in the bottom half. The Cats collected six of their 15 hits in the game in the second inning and scored five runs. Evan White singled to score the fifth run of the inning and give him his second hit of the day. White now has a 12-game hitting streak. Indiana and Kentucky traded blows until the 7th inning. A pair of RBI singles off Brad Schaenzer and Andrew Nelson led to Indiana tying the game at seven after the 7th inning. Indiana continued to attack in the eighth off of Nelson and Logan Salow. Indiana's Brad Hartong stung a two-run home run over the left field wall to give Indiana their first lead since the second inning. The Indiana rally continued into the ninth where the Hoosiers tacked on two more runs to extend their lead to four. Zach Strecker couldn't keep the lead to two in the ninth, allowing another two-run home run. Kentucky was not able to answer back in the bottom half of the ninth and fell to Indiana 11-7. The loss to Indiana showed two of Kentucky's recent weaknesses: their bullpen and fielding. Each pitcher allowed one or more runs to Indiana as the Hoosiers scored six unanswered runs to end the game. Keeping runners off the basepaths is difficult when the Cats committed three big errors. The fielding mistakes contributed to their pitchers allowing three unearned runs in the loss. Kentucky will continue their homestand this weekend with games against #1 Texas A&M on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. All games will be broadcast on SEC Network.  @TreyHuntsmanKSR
