After a long day on Sunday that had hundreds of prospects on-site for a showcase camp, Kentucky was back at it on Monday at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility. KSR was again in attendance to check out the talent.

Compared to others, this event was smaller but some intriguing talent from C3 Elite National 7-on-7 was on hand to go along with some other good-looking prospects. Let’s get to the good stuff.

Terence Marshall, Aneyas Williams could be top 2024 targets

There were numerous players from the C3 Elite team and that group was receiving offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello’s full attention throughout the event. Two players in the group stuck out above the rest.

Navarre (Fla.) High wideout Terence Marshall is an unranked prospect in the class of 2024, but the wideout is beginning to garner some attention from Power Five programs. Both Florida State and Arkansas have issued scholarship offers. The wideout flashed some very good speed to go along with the ability to highpoint the football at the top of routes. Kentucky has now entered the chat. Don’t be surprised if a scholarship offers arrive shortly.

Aneyas Williams is a C3 Elite teammate with Marshall, and the Missouri native is being recruited as a running back/slot hybrid. Running backs coach John Settle is running point here for Kentucky as this 2024 prospect is a popular player. The top-500 recruit has offers from Alabama, Iowa, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, and a few others. Sporting a pair of sunglasses while working out, Williams played with some flash and should have a heated recruitment. Monday was the second time that Kentucky had Williams on campus in the last three months.

Why is this C3 Elite connection important to know. Class of 2024 quarterback Danny O’Neil is also a member of that team. The Indianapolis (Ind.) Cathedral prospect appears to be the top target in the class for Scangarello. Building a solid relationship with some of his summer teammates should help Kentucky strengthen that relationship with the junior quarterback.

Boyle County makes a return trip to Lexington

Danville (Ky.) Boyle County head coach Justin Haddix made a return trip to Lexington for the second time this month on Monday with two more players who are emerging as FBS prospects.

Class of 2023 wide receiver Dakota Patterson was working out, but unfortunately, the senior suffered an injury during the event and had to be helped inside. His status currently is unknown.

Class of 2025 linebacker/EDGE prospect Brock Driver currently looks very slim on a frame between 6-1 and 6-2, but there appears to be a lot of room for growth. The rising sophomore worked with both linebackers coach Mike Stoops and defensive coordinator Brad White as the defensive prospect will be closely watched as he starts to get a bigger role for Boyle County.

With 2023 prospect Tommy Ziesmer committed to Kentucky, expect many eyes to be on the Rebels this fall as they make a run at another state championship.

Buzz is building for Khalifa Keith

Behind the scenes, folks were still buzzing about the most recent official visit weekend. While at camp, three-star offensive lineman Austin Ramsey became the latest prospect to commit to the program, and the Wildcats like the man some call “House” appears to be a great long-term fit at guard. However, he wasn’t the only one on commitment watch.

Birmingham (Ala.) Parker tailback Khalifa Keith impressed many over the weekend, and the unranked tailback could become the next player to join the class. Kentucky currently feels good about this recruitment as Florida State is emerging as a contender. New offensive line coach Zach Yenser might just record a second recruiting win very soon.

Amontrae Bradford pops

Statesboro (Ga.) High was another school that brought a handful of prospects up to Lexington, and one specific player immediately jumped out. Amontrae Bradford is an unranked prospect in the class of 2024 but the EDGE player has some major tools.

There needs to be weight put on, but Bradford is a legit 6-3 to 6-4 with very long arms. Add that with some athleticism and that equals a good mix when looking for outside linebacker prospects that can turn the corner and rush the passer.

Bradford does not have any Power Five offers yet, but he and his group were heading into the football facility after camp to get a visit. Secondary coach Chris Collins is attempting to build relationships in South Georgia, and this 2024 prospect was just one of many strong EDGE players we’ve seen at Kentucky camps this week.

Luckett’s Scouting Notebook

  • Class of 2024 prospect Ethan Grunkemeyer was the best quarterback at camp today as the Columbus area native had a nice compact release and delivered throws with accuracy. The rising senior has not received any offers yet, but this has the looks of a player who could blow up if a strong junior season follows for the six-foot quarterback.
  • London (Ky.) North Laurel EDGE Jack Chappell is a name to remember. The rising junior tested very well with good speed and could develop into an FBS prospect. This was the in-state prospect’s second time visiting Kentucky this offseason.
  • Ja’Bril Rawls is a 2023 cornerback prospect out of Pensacola (Fla.) Catholic who got a lot of attention today. Kentucky has not issued an offer yet but both Mississippi State and Kansas are involved.
