Kentucky Football unveils uniform combination for Mississippi State game
Kentucky will rock a blue-white-blue look down in Starkville on Saturday night. UK Athletics announced on Friday that the Wildcat uniform combination will feature blue helmets, white jerseys, and blue pants when UK takes on Mississippi State.
Kickoff will take place at 7:30 p.m. EST on Saturday and will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
Kentucky hasn’t won in Starkville since 2008, so the ‘Cats will take any good omens they can get. Unfortunately, this uniform order is the exact opposite of that. According to UK’s Mississippi State Game Notes, Kentucky is just 5-17 under head coach Mark Stoops when rocking white jerseys and blue pants. That record is easily the worst of any uniform under Stoops.
This will be the first time this season the ‘Cats use this uniform combination. Mississippi State is currently a 2.5-point favorite to beat Kentucky, according to Circa Sports.
