Kentucky is NOT ranked in AP, Coaches polls

by:Jack Pilgrim09/09/18
Despite knocking down No. 25 Florida in historic fashion, your Kentucky Wildcats are NOT ranked in the latest AP or Coaches polls. The Cats managed 19 votes in the AP Poll to come in at No. 34 overall and 34 in the Coaches Poll to come in at No. 31. They’re behind just seven teams in the AP Poll, including Utah (92), Texas A&M (90), Boston College (45), Houston (32), Maryland (30), Colorado (25), and Iowa (23). They sit behind Texas A&M (87), Utah (86), Houston (46), South Carolina (43), Boston College (37) as others receiving votes in the Coaches Poll. South Carolina and Florida each fell out of the top-25 following their week-two losses. Georgia and Mississippi State remain as the only two ranked teams remaining on Kentucky’s schedule. We’ll just have to get ‘em next week. [mobile_ad]
