Kentucky MBB opens as 27.5-point favorite vs. Howard
Kentucky goes into its season-opening matchup vs. Howard as an overwhelming favorite — 27.5-point favorites, to be exact.
The opening lines are out for college basketball’s first string of games this week, starting with the Wildcats on Monday vs. the Bison. Early lines listed UK as a 28.5-point favorite, dropping a point leading up to tomorrow’s matchup.
The over/under opened at 144.5 points and has since dropped to 143.5.
ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives Kentucky a 96.6% chance to defeat Howard to open the season.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET at Rupp Arena, with the game broadcast live on SEC Network.
The Wildcats opened its exhibition schedule with back-to-back victories vs. Missouri Western (56-38) and Kentucky State (111-53). Now, the real fun begins against the Bison on Monday.
