Kentucky has historically had their way against Missouri on the hardwood. The Wildcats lead the all-time series 15-3 and won all four meetings before the Tigers joined the Southeastern Conference. Once Mizzou jumped in the league, UK ran off six consecutive victories from 2013-17. But Missouri has found more success lately.

Kentucky is still undefeated in this series in games played outside of Columbia, but Missouri is 3-1 against the Wildcats at Mizzou Arena since 2018.

Saturday afternoon will be the first meeting in series history when both teams are ranked as No. 15 Missouri hosts No. 19 Kentucky. The Tigers are a small home favorite in the matchup. In year three under Dennis Gates, Mizzou has been very difficult to beat at home. Missouri owns a 17-1 record at Mizzou Arena this season with a 7-1 against-the-spread (ATS) record in SEC home games. Texas A&M is the only away team to win in Columbia as the Aggies needed some heroics from Wade Taylor IV late after blowing a double-digit lead in the second half.

Kentucky enters Saturday’s matchup with a 3-6 record in true road games. The Wildcats have also not played well at Mizzou Arena. The only victory in the last four trips to Columbia included a Reid Travis knee injury. This is a venue that has been a recent house of horrors for Kentucky. To change that they will have to beat Missouri in a building where the home team plays extremely well this season.
