The AP voters still believe Kentucky is a top 20 team, but the NCAA’s computers do not. The Cats are No. 74 in the latest NET rankings, which are updated through yesterday’s games. That’s actually up four spots from their previous ranking, No. 78, so maybe the computers were impressed by Saturday’s close game? Not enough to put Ohio State back at No. 1 apparently. The Buckeyes remain at No. 2 behind undefeated San Diego State. Utah, who beat Kentucky on Wednesday then lost to San Diego State by 28 on Saturday, is No. 65.

Other teams of note:

7. Louisville (Dec. 28)
8. Auburn (Feb. 1, Feb. 29)
22. Michigan State (W, 69-62)
30. Texas Tech (Jan. 25)
34. Arkansas (Jan. 18)
