Kentucky's season-opener vs. Southern Miss is only 12 days away, and after opening as a 7.5-point favorite over the Golden Eagles earlier this summer,
the Cats are now a 6.5-point favorite. When you consider that Southern Miss quarterback Nick Mullens has a been a fixture on the preseason award watch list circuit and Kentucky's been dealt a bad blow by losing Regie Meant and Darius West for the season, the movement makes sense.
