[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="4299"] Via UKAthletics.com[/caption] The folks at Birmingham News have previewed football in the SEC for the past 70 years and today that preview dropped once again. In their research they polled all 14 Sports Information directors to get their take on how the SEC East would play out this fall. Well according to those SIDs, things aren't looking too positive for the Cats. The predicted order of the SEC East, as posted on AL.com:
  1. Tennessee
  2. Georgia
  3. Florida
  4. Missouri
  5. South Carolina
  6. Kentucky
  7. Vanderbilt
Kentucky received three fourth place votes, two 5th places votes and one last-place vote to move back towards the bottom of the SEC. Last season the Cats finished fourth, just behind Vandy, ahead of Missouri and South Carolina. Without question they left some wins on the table as well. But I guess the SIDs from around the South expect that Kentucky can't overcome a tougher schedule while Mizzou and USC instantly rebuild. No respect.
