Kentucky players take pizza to homeless man in Lexington

by:Mrs. Tyler Thompson03/25/19

We’ve said it all season, but today, we got another reminder of what a great group of kids this Kentucky Basketball team is. Earlier today, Ashton Hagans and some of his teammates took two pizzas to a homeless man in Lexington, a moment captured on Instagram Live.

“Hey, how you doing, sir?” Ashton said as he handed the pizzas over. “Just got some pizza. Just enjoy. Have a nice day.”

After thanking Ashton and the group (which looks to include Tyler Herro, EJ Montgomery, Immanuel Quickley, and Keldon Johnson), the man complimented him on a good game and said, “Go Cats.”

Good on ya, boys. If you want to hear the group discuss Friday night’s game time and the weather, you can see the rest of Ashton’s Instagram account (a surprisingly good source for information lately).
