Following UK football's 34-7 blowout victory in Knoxville, the Kentucky volleyball team pulled off a 3-1 win over the Vols in Lexington to pull off the series sweep. The Wildcats also defeated the Volunteers 3-0 on Friday evening. Avery Skinner led Kentucky in kills with 21, followed by Alli Stumler (15) and Azhani Tealer (7), with Skinner and Stumler each adding an ace. Elise Goetzinger added five blocks, while Madison Lilley finished with three and Skinner managed two. Lilley finished with a whopping 48 assists in the win, with Gabby Curry adding six and Skinner also adding one. To round things out, Lilley led the way with 15 digs, followed by Curry and Stumler both with 13. The 2-0 Wildcats will now head to Columbia to take on the Missouri Tigers on Wednesday and Thursday this week, with both games set to take place at 9 p.m. ET on ESPNU. From there, Kentucky will take on Auburn on Nov. 7 and 8, followed by a final road trip to Mississippi State to close out the season with back-to-back outings on Nov. 12 and 13.
