Kentucky targets -- MBB & WBB -- line 3rd Annual Mamba League Invitational rosters

Over two dozen Kentucky targets will be flocking to Los Angeles this weekend for the 3rd Annual Mamba League Invitational — and that’s including both men’s and women’s basketball targets.
In the prestigious event honoring the late Kobe Bryant, 36 boys and 31 girls will compete under the same roof for two days at L.A. Live, starting on August 23. Nike describes it as “two days of locked-in talent, big energy, and the next era of hoopers going all out.”
Among them? No. 1 overall recruit Tyran Stokes on the boys’ side and Kentucky five-star commit Maddyn Greenway on the girls’ side. 15 boys hold offers from Mark Pope in the Wildcats in the 2026 and 2027 classes in attendance, while nine girls hold offers from Kenny Brooks in 2026, 2027 and 2028.

Outside of Peach Jam or the adidas 3SSB championships, there isn’t a bigger event with more talent competing on the same floor all year long. It’s only right to honor the late, great Black Mamba with iron sharpening iron on the greatest scale, right?
Things wrap up, of course, on 8/24 — Kobe Bryant Day– in Los Angeles.

Jasper Johnson, Stokes, Jordan Smith Jr., Jason Crowe, Caleb Wilson and Chris Cenac were among the players invited to the Mamba League Invitational this time last year. Johnson went on to play for the Wildcats, others decided to head elsewhere — many still figuring out if Lexington will be their next home in college in 2026-27.
One thing is certain: Mark Pope and Kenny Brooks will be paying close attention.
